ITV has many pioneering acts to its credit, including the first ever awards exclusively designed for the television industry. In its ninth year now, The Indian Telly Awards is the country's first television industry award which honours successful achievers amongst India's cable and satellite companies and covers a whole range of professions ranging from broadcasters and marketers to artistes, television actors and technicians.


In 2007, ITV instituted The News Television Conference & NT Awards, the first ever awards for the Indian News Television Industry. In its third year ,the award is supported and attended by professionals from across TV News channels and news business. In 2008, ITV instituted Tellychakkar.com's New Talent Awards to recognize those newcomers in the television industry who have risen above the rest of their peers.

Since the past five years, ITV has also been responsible for hosting the semi final judging round for some of the categories of the International Emmy awards.
